    Editorial Approach

    Why we publish structural commentary.

Our notes are written for a narrow audience: the principals and committees who decide how a platform is structured.

They are not market forecasts. We do not publish price calls or allocation recommendations.

Instead each note takes one recurring structural problem and sets out how it is resolved in practice — the trade-offs, the sequencing, and the conditions under which a given approach holds.

Where a subject requires detail beyond a short note, we prepare longer material for mandate counterparties on request.

    Subjects We Cover

    Recurring themes across our research.

Permanent capital vehicles and how their economics differ from project-by-project financing.

Sovereign-grade structuring, including jurisdictional selection, governance design, and the transparency standards allocators now expect as a precondition rather than a preference.

Capital formation under changed rate conditions, and how allocator behaviour reshapes the terms on which real asset platforms are financed.

Institutional readiness — the documentation, reporting, and diligence architecture a platform needs before it approaches capital.

Notes are made available on request to counterparties and institutional investors.

    Readership

Who these notes are written for.

The intended reader sits on the sponsor side of a platform, not the distribution side.

That includes officials in ministries and public authorities weighing how to bring a national asset base to institutional capital.

It includes finance directors at infrastructure sponsors deciding whether a portfolio justifies a permanent vehicle.

It includes developers whose pipeline has outgrown project-level debt, and allocators assessing how a platform has been assembled before they underwrite it.

Each note is short by design. The purpose is to sharpen a decision, not to survey a market.
