    Speak with a principal.

Conversations with CounterPointe usually begin well before a transaction exists.

Most start with a question about structure: what vehicle would allow this asset base to attract long-duration institutional capital?

    Who Should Write

Inquiries we are best placed to answer.

We work with governments and public authorities, infrastructure sponsors and concession holders, and private developers operating at platform scale.

We also speak regularly with institutional investors evaluating access to structured real asset exposure.

If your question concerns entity design, jurisdiction, governance, or institutional readiness, it sits squarely within our practice.

If you are seeking placement of an existing fund, we are probably not the right counterparty. Our work sits upstream of distribution.

    01

    Initial Review

Every inquiry is read by a principal. We assess the asset base, the capital objective, and whether the mandate fits our practice.

    02

    Introductory Call

A short, confidential conversation covering the platform objective, the constraints you are working within, and the realistic sequencing.

    03

    Scope Discussion

Where there is a fit, we outline the workstreams, the order they run in, and what we would need from your team.

What to include in your message: the asset base or pipeline, the capital objective, the jurisdictions involved, and the timeline you are working to.

Detail is helpful but not required. A paragraph is enough to establish whether a conversation is worthwhile.

All correspondence is treated as confidential. Nothing on this site constitutes an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy securities.

    Before You Write

    Questions worth resolving first.

A short conversation goes further when a few points are already settled.

What does the platform need to own, and over what horizon? A ten-year concession and a perpetual holding vehicle imply different structures from the first day.

Which jurisdictions are involved, and are any of them fixed by statute or by the assets themselves? Domicile is often the constraint that determines everything downstream.

Who holds control, and who will hold it after external capital arrives? Governance is easier to design before an allocator asks about it.

What is the realistic timeline? Institutional processes rarely compress, and sequencing is where most platforms lose time.

If any of these are still open, that is an ordinary starting point. Much of our early work is helping principals answer them.
